Membership in the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association is on a calendar year basis from January 1 through December 31 each year. The annual fee is $25.
Most members renew their membership as part of the fee for the Indiana Tennis Coaches Convention each February. If you do not attend the convention, you may join the IHSTeCA at any time during the year. A printable membership form is available by clicking on the "FORMS" link on the home page of this website.
Under the leadership of former IHSTeCA president Ed Yarbrough of Jasper in the late 1990s, membership experienced significant growth, with more than 250 coaches joining the association. Much of the growth has been sustained through 2005 with membership continuing to surpass 200 coaches throughout the year.
Members of the association receive home mailings for IHSTeCA conventions, are eligible to nominate their players and represent their school with voting powers at All-District meetings, are eligible for Coach of the Year honors, are eligible to nominate Academic All-State candidates, are invited to participate in special functions, and receive many other benefits.
Membership is open to boys’ and girls’ high school, JV, and middle school coaches, collegiate coaches, retired coaches, and other friends of tennis.
