SPORTSMANSHIP CREED FOR
INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS
This
statement on sportsmanship is endorsed by the Indiana High School Tennis
Coaches Association and its Board of Directors. Coaches are
encouraged to use this creed to help educate players and fans on the
importance of sportsmanship. Coaches may want to print copies and
distribute at team organizational meetings and/or may want to have each
team member sign a copy and pledge to uphold the basic tenets of
sportsmanship. This statement is not a rule to be enforced by the IHSTeCA, but rather it is a good-faith creed designed to promote
sportsmanship for high school tennis in Indiana.

they have a new interactive website. This program allows
coaches the opportunity to interact with other coaches on tennis
tips, scheduling, and other convenient topics.
Here's
the website.

Attention coaches: USPTA Master Pro Jorge Capestany, a frequent
speaker at the Indiana and Midwest Tennis Conventions, has
produced an excellent new website for tennis drills. The
site is called
www.tennisdrills.tv and it offers free samples to preview.
The drills are shown on videos and also are diagrammed and
explained wonderfully in easy-to-print format. Check it out when
you have time. It is a project that Capestany has been
working on and thinking about for several years, and the product
